A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Welcome to Becky Hackler Interiors! I'm so excited to share my passion for design and decorating with everyone. Since I was a little girl I was destined to be in this field. I rearranged my room every few weeks, painted new colors on the walls and ran a pretend Real Estate/Design business.
I have a Bachelor Of Arts in Interior Design and have worked in many facets of design. I have experience in Kitchen and baths, Commercial and Residential work, and have worked for several firms around Louisville. I have designed in many designer showhouses and have had several articles featured in The Courier Journal and local trade magazines. I also have experience in Visual Merchandising and event planning.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and two beautiful little girls Addalyn & Ainsley. We reside in Corydon, a small Southern Indiana town. Some of my hobbies include photography, traveling, cooking, scrapbooking, a good cup of coffee, working out, going to the lake, watching movies, anything thrill seeking, oh and of course, I love to decorate!!!
You will find working with me that I'm a very honest and compassionate person. I always have your best interest in mind. I'm hard working, detailed and VERY Organized. My dad always taught me, "Say what you mean and mean what you say." He also lives by the words, "If you're going to do something, do it right, never half-ass it." I grew up hearing this and now practice it in my daily adult life. Working in client's homes is a very personal environment. I respect your space and hope that we develop a lasting relationship. I would love to have the oppurtunity to work hard for you and to get to know you. My goal is to remake your rooms from ordinary to extraordinary and have fun while doing it!

Welcome to Becky Hackler Interiors

It has been a busy week! Room Makeovers for a fun family, paint consultations with new clients and catching up with some of my past clients over the phone! I also had the pleasure of making a new contact for custom art! Business is booming and I'm excited to see where the summer takes me! This picture is from my makeover on Tuesday. I love the fun pops of color and the different textures that are brought out.

Summertime Serenity

Summer has officially begun and I hope that with our busy lives and demanding schedules you can truly find some serenity in the season. We often escape with our loved ones of fun vacations where we can sink our toes in the sand and forget all of our worries. Some of you will stay local and possibly go boating on the weekends. Where ever life takes you no matter your location, just stop and take a deep breath of fresh air. Soak it in. Be thankful and live in the moment. I try to find the positive in each day! Sit out on the porch, get lost in a book and enjoy some Ice Tea. Buy some flowers for yourself, watch the sunset on your deck with a glass of wine. Take landscape portraits with your camera, light some lanterns and invite some friends over. My most recent moment that I treasure is with my husband. Nothing fancy at all, we laid on our trampoline in the backyard and stargazed. Looking for constellations all while talking about our day and listening to the crickets chirp. So simple and yet it's one of my favorites. So this Summer I ask you to find some serenity in your life. Do something nice for yourself!
Spring is in the air and boy has it been busy around here! Derby season and upcoming school graduations are fastly approaching. As I'm working to meet my deadlines I have been on client consultations, paint consults, proposals, & shopping for clients. Excited for the Before & After Reveal Pictures of a very deserving family in Buckner, KY, coming soon! This beautiful morning I head out to The Indian Creek Antique Show in Corydon, IN to find some unusual items for clients & mantiques for my husband's "Man Cave."
